| WHOA MEMBERS SHINE AT WESTERN DRESSAGE WORLD SHOW Congratulations to our WHOA members and their Tennessee Walking Horses who were big winners at the 2024 WDAA Western Dressage World Championships in Guthrie Oklahoma! They competed at all levels against gaited and non-gaited horses and achieved great success! Thanks for doing such a wonderful job of representing our breed! A WHOA member from Georgia, Tami Steinbrecher, proudly represented WHOA and WDAGA at the Championships! Here is what Tami had to say: "It was the show of a lifetime despite the triple digit heat all week. We rode in 8 tests and earned 7 world champion titles! Alamo won all 4 of his Intro Amateur classes scoring in the 70's in each test (his highest score was a 77%) which earned him the lower level test gaited division championship and buckle! AND Timber won 3 of his 4 Level 3 tests (two test scores over 70)! He ended up the upper level test gaited division champion and got the buckle! So happy with both the boys they tried hard, listened to me and gave me their best rides ever!!!!" Way to go Tami!! Scot MacGregor, a long-time WHOA member and professional trainer from Murfreesboro, TN also had great success at the Championships! Congratulations to all of Scot MacGregor's winners:
16 firsts, 9 seconds and 5 thirds total for the week! Great job Scot and customers! |
