| WHOA Hits Another Home Run!
| By Sis Osborne |
Two weeks ago the WHOA Versatility Show held at Womack Stables in Murfreesboro broke all records for any previous 1 day versatility event.
Breaking records is getting to be a habit with the WHOA Versatility Program as seen in Cookeville, TN June 10 at Hyde –Burk Pavilion on the campus of Tennessee Tech. If the Murfreesboro Show was a grand slam then the Cookeville show was, for sure, a triple with all bases loaded! Another record number of 302 entries went through the gate for a day of fun and competition.
Richard Wall did an excellent job as the Judge, Tommy Hall was once again the announcer, and Ada Wright, David Pruett, Jon Brown, Scott Keen and Sis Osborne handled the job of taking entries. One thing that was just an added perk for the already “perk filled day” was the fact that 5 exhibitors had never shown a horse prior to Sunday’s Show. They all claimed they had such a good time they would be “regulars” from now on! Danielle Johnson served as candid photographer when she wasn’t busy winning ribbons and making excellent catch rides.
A wonderful fun filled day was had by all. If there is a flat shod horse around that isn’t participating in the WHOA Versatility Shows you certainly need to test your mettle July 7 at Rising Glory Farm located on the Franklin Highway in Lewisburg, Tennessee. Starting promptly at 11:00am, Ida Marie Panella and Chris Carlough will be your hosts and will certainly welcome you to the top- notch facility at Rising Glory Farm.
